|It's that time again! The Foodbank is gearing up for the Mayflower Marathon – a 57-hour long food and fund drive that helps stock the Foodbank shelves for the winter. Radio legends Mike Arlo from 106.9 the FOX and Rick Rumble from FM99 along with Dave Taylor, Shelley and other DJs from both radio stations will be live on air talking with people driving through to drop off food and monetary donations all weekend.
Over 70,000 people in North Hampton Roads are struggling to find food on a daily basis. Of those, 1 in 4 is a child. The Foodbank feeds seniors who have to choose between paying for food or medication, children who may only get 1 or no meals a day, and working poor families who just can't make ends meet. Every dollar you donate equals 3 meals that go back onto the tables of our neighbors in need. Please help us feed the community by donating whatever you can.
